Honestly, swapping this in for the base game deck breathes so much fresh life into strategy. The new cards force you to rethink your whole early game approach, and I love how cleanly it integrates without any rulebook confusion. This is exactly the variety I’ve been craving.

The card stock feels sturdier than the base game's, and the new factions add just enough chaos to keep our sessions fresh. Swapping it in took seconds, and it’s breathed new life into a game we’ve played dozens of times.

I was hesitant because my group already owns the Exiles deck, but swapping this one in changed the whole flavor of our games. The new Squires and Disciples card synergies make the base factions feel fresh without having to learn a bunch of extra rules.
