Die Clockwork-Erweiterung 2 ist eine eigenständige Erweiterung, mit der du gegen vier automatisierte Fraktionen antreten kannst. Füge eine hinzu, um eine Partie mit wenigen Spielern abzurunden, oder schließe dich im kooperativen Spiel zusammen!

Jeder Bot verfügt über vier Schwierigkeitsstufen und vier Eigenschaftskarten, die ihm besondere Fähigkeiten und strategische Eigenheiten verleihen. Ebenfalls enthalten ist eine neue „Better Bot“-Eigenschaftskarte für jede Fraktion aus der ersten Clockwork-Erweiterung.

Dies ist eine Erweiterung. Sie setzt das Root-Brettspiel sowie eine oder beide der folgenden Erweiterungen voraus: Die Riverfolk-Erweiterung und Die Unterwelt-Erweiterung.

Took me a couple games to get the hang of the automa flow, but once I did, adding a fourth bot to a three-player session felt almost like playing against a human. The cooperative mode is where this really shines for me, though—teaming up against two of them together is a blast.
