Had to pick these up after the base game started feeling a little stale, and the Ronin's dash-and-slash playstyle completely changes the pace. The meeples themselves are also noticeably higher quality than the originals.

The Adventurer card opens up so many new questing options, it's like playing a whole different game. The meeples themselves feel great in hand, with a nice weight and clear detail on each character.

The Ronin meeple is perfectly balanced for aggressive plays, and the new character cards each offer genuinely different strategies. Finally, my sessions feel fresh again.
