The landmark pack slots into every one of the four maps without fuss, and the tactical wrinkles it adds to each game are surprisingly deep. Was a bit worried about setup time, but the pieces are clear and quick to place. Easily my favorite expansion for the base game so far.
The tannery landmark finally made the Keepers feel dangerous on the Lake map, and the way it shifts the whole board’s tempo is so much fun. The cards themselves are thick and glossy too, which I wasn’t expecting for a small pack.
The landmarks work across all four maps, which is exactly what I needed since my group rotates boards every session. The tactical depth each one adds is noticeable—especially the way they force you to rethink your usual openings.
