สวัสดี

The faction-specific dice actions give each playthrough a totally different feel, so we’ve already run it back four times this week. The smuggling theme actually shows up in clever ways, like when you’re weighing risk on the open sea.

The dice-placement actions for each faction are so distinct that every game feels like a different crew is running the ship. Played a three-player round last night and the smuggling mechanic kept us all on edge until the final roll.

The dice-placement mechanic really shines here, since every roll forces you to balance your faction’s unique powers against the smuggling routes you’re eyeing. Played a two-player round and the tension stayed high until the final turn.
