This is an upgrade pack to for the very first printing of Vast: The Crystal Caverns (2015).
Includes: updated rulebook, updated cards, updated playerboards, and a plastic dragon die.
Please note: First printing copies do not have the Dice Tower seal of excellence on the back of the box. You do not need this upgrade pack if your core game was purchased after 2015.
The plastic dragon die is a nice tactile upgrade, and the revised playerboards finally made the rules click for our group. Playing with the updated cards and rulebook feels like a completely polished experience compared to the clunky original.
My 2015 copy was getting a bit worn, so I grabbed this upgrade pack. The new playerboards are much sturdier and the plastic dragon die is a nice tactile addition. Everything fits perfectly and the rules are much clearer now.
Bought this for my 2015 copy, and the updated playerboards alone make setup so much clearer. The plastic dragon die is a nice tactile upgrade, though I wish the rulebook was spiral-bound. Still, everything fits like it should now.
